This weekend EmblemHealth celebrated the grand opening of its new sales office in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
More than 30 local community leaders attended the South Brooklyn Sales Office grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony, including Sen. Martin J. Golden; Wai Yee Chan, Director, CPC Brooklyn Community Service; Peggy Sheng, Chief Operating Office of CAIPA; Steve Chung, President, United Chinese-American Association; Karen Zhou, Director, HomeCrest Community Services; Yvonne Liu, President, Multicultural Radio Broadcast; and many more.
The new site will serve the vibrant Chinese community of Bensonhurst with knowledgeable staff available to answer questions, provide guidance and assist with health education, in both English and Chinese. The sales team received two commendations for the opening – a Certificate of Merit from Sen. Golden and a City Council Citation from Council Member Mark Treyger.
EmblemHealth Board Member Charles P. Wang was on hand to cut the ribbon along with other EmblemHealth leadership.
